ChemSW, Inc. announces a new capability for the CIS Chemical Inventory System? -- a built-in interface to the complete line of Mettler Toledo balances. With this enhancement, users can automatically add or subtract chemical amounts directly from the balance, which saves time and improves the accuracy of tracking inventory data on precious chemicals. The direct interface also minimizes the number of keystrokes when subtracting or adding amounts to a container.

"This program enhancement is ideal for labs working with small amounts of expensive or hard-to-find chemicals," explains Brian Stafford, President of ChemSW. "We have chosen to work with the Mettler Toledo line because they are the leading balance manufacturer worldwide."

Windows*-based CIS Chemical Inventory Systems, adaptable from the desktop to the enterprise, track laboratory chemicals and supplies. Client/server and web versions for both Oracle* and MS SQL Server* applications are available.

The balance interface capability is a standard part of CIS Version 5 and is available as an upgrade to users of earlier versions.
